Having a hero with a giant folding card with two hero forms is perhaps the epitome of “Year 1” ingenuity for this game. I much prefer wacky designs over say, Thor, who mostly consists of “plus stats” cards. Marvel is quite tricksy, requiring constant identity-flipping and hand management and using abilities off multiple cards in play to trigger big burst turns. She focuses on recurring events that have the “Attack,” “Thwart,” or “Defense” keywords, so most likely you will be building her to focus on one of those types of events. The ending felt like an Avengers movie- Ultron arrives at Norad, Captain Marvel unleashes an Energy Channel, calls in Falcon who attacks twice (with ready card), Dr. Strange could have punched him for 1 and ended it but decides to use Captain Marvel's helicarrier (On loan from Nick Fury, no doubt) to call in Black Widow who ends Ultron once and The information presented on this site about Marvel Champions: The Card Game, both literal and graphical, is copyrighted by Fantasy Flight Games.
